On Sunday Night, we went to the American Church

where they have free concerts.

{this years concert was stunning}

Then we met friends for dinner….

Philippe and Sabine live across the street from us in Paris,

and they always offer to drive us home, BUT…..

After a good nights sleep..we got up and went

to Larry’s favorite wine store.

His old favorite closed…the owner was arrested

for sexual assault. EEEEEK.

He buys wine for our annual picnic….he shops and I browse.

Secret Paris Photos-2017

Last week, I found 72 photos in my Paris phone.

This week, I will share them with you.

On November 17th,  2017

I got to scratch something off of my bucket list.

Photo: our tickets to see Van Morrison

I saw Van Morrison.

In Concert.

In Paris.

Photo: second row seats were amazing.

We sat close to the stage….

and Van, well, what can  I say?

Photo: Bad pic, but Van Morrison was perfection.

I was amazed at the talent this man has.

He plays a dozen instruments

and still has that wonderful

raspy voice.

Isn’t it kind of sad to mark something

off of your bucket list?

Love you.

Last week, I found 72 photos in my Paris phone.

This week, I will share them with you.

Each year on the first night in Paris,

we go to church and say prayers.

It has been a tradition for a long time…

The Calm

I just finished reading one of my favorite blogs.

The author, reminded me to just keep going.

No matter what.

No matter what happens in your life,

YOU alone are in control.

YOU can chose how you react

to the negatives in your life.

Photo: I have owned this BP thing for YEARS! Last week, I was told to start charting again.

Are you being a negative?

I know that I am being negative

and am trying to change that.

A few days ago, Lauren said:

You just never know what someone is going through.

I said:

And some people who are being rude,

might not know what we are going through.

Lauren totally agreed.

Isn’t this where we all try to be kind and respect others?

I am sorry to say,

I have been awful about this.

People who treated me like crap,

I just go, vanish. {no confrontation}

It feels great and my BP is responding in the best way.

My DR will be happy

and

my days are calm.

Yesterday, after Larry was finished working,

we drove to the country

and

played board games with Matilda.

After the games,

Larry and I drove home in the twilight.

I held his hand and we talked about many things.

Thank You God for my many blessings. Amen.

Love you.

MY Moments

Yesterday, I had company before going

to the hospital for a test.

The Cottage was filled with positive

sounds and love.

{Larry was in his office,

and Matilda kept going back and whispering:

Are you soon done Pa?}

We cooked, played chess, knitted

and smiled.

and made place cards.

She decorated the table with toys. {my Little pony’s}

Aren’t some moments totally amazing?

Honest. true and personal.

These are MY moments.

Love you.

The Details

Yesterday was my Monday.

I did laundry and all of my

Monday chores because

I am having company at

The Cottage this morning

and this afternoon

I am having a throat sonogram.

Yesterday along with chores,

My Larry and I had Sunday Dinner and a movie.

Dinner was…..

Photo: Roasted chicken for Sunday dinner

When I was a teen,

Mother taught me how to roast a chicken.

I adore the process

and make the stuffing by hand.

And our movie…..

To be honest, this movie gave me anxiety.

It is gorgeous outside this  Monday morning.

Outgoing mail is in the mailbox,

The wind chimes are singing

and

company is expected soon.

It is going to be a great day.

Love you.

My Day At The Stock Show

Yesterday,

we spent the day at the Stock Show.

It was a beautiful day. 70 degrees! And sunny!

We met horses and cowboys and cow girls.

We wanted to go to the Mustang Auction

but we ran out of time.

We did go to the bull auction and

went to the donkey  agility course.

Then we went shopping…it was crazy busy.

{the Boot Barn is always busy!}

I saw this man with a “Poppy”  {troll} wig on.

{it looked stupid}

Then it was time for the main event.

THE RODEO.

The Stock Show Rodeo is the best rodeo in the world.

In the photo below, you cannot see,

but it is the AMERICAN Flag…..

It was wonderful.

There is something so  magical about the rodeo….

I am sad that the day is over.

Love you, and Happy Sunday!

BEYOND

Photo: Before

Last week,

on a sunny, cool day

the tree men came.

2018 has {so far} been one of change,

why should it be any different for  our trees?

I watched the men work from inside the warm house….

Photo: watching the tree men through glass

Then, off the sudden, they were done.

Photo: After the tree trimming

Tree trim  day had turned cold

and

the sky threatened snow.

I know that the  tree needed some work

but I liked it before.

I am  happy that Friday is here.

This  past week has been kind of crappy.

The weather has been awful  and that always makes me crazy.

This weekend looks perfect.

Have a happy blessed weekend.
