Last week end, Larry celebrated his birthday.

Matilda had been planning a surprise for 3 months

and it evolved into the most charming day for Larry.

At first Matilda wanted to host a surprise birthday party

here at the cottage, for Larry and invite all of HER friends!

But in the end, she wanted to take her Grandfather

to see the Grinch Movie at our local theater and then to dinner.

THIS IS WHAT HAPPENED

I told Larry that I bought tickets to see, Mary, Queen of Scots for next week

and

had to go pick up the tickets.

Guess who was waiting for him at the theater?

{with her parents keeping an eye on her}

Larry was surprised to see a  little GRINCH…….

not knowing that it was Matilda.

Larry was very surprised and

very touched when he realized it was Matilda!

{he loved it}

Lauren and Josh helped Matilda pull of this wonderful surprise….

Larry is still talking about it ….

It was the best birthday ever.
