Afternoon Tea/One Moment While On Holiday

A couple of weeks ago, while on Holiday, Larry took me to afternoon tea. We always take the opportunity to enjoy tea when we are out of town. It is another way to discover a new part of town, meet people and enjoy afternoon tea in the city that you are visiting. (Larry has come to enjoy it too, knowing that Champagne is included upon request.) Haha.

We had afternoon tea at the Four Seasons George V while in Paris. It was heavenly. I will post a few pictures below, no comments because none are needed.

It was a wonderful afternoon with Larry. Christmas decorations were up and the food was perfect. The Four Seasons, George V serve a lovely afternoon tea. I cannot wait to go back.

Love you beyond the moon.

Atlanta!

Larry and I are home from a long weekend away. We spent fun days in Atlanta, we slept in, strolled midtown (stayed at the Georgian Terrace Hotel, I LOVE the history at this hotel and it is down the street from Margaret Mitchell’s house!), shopped Buckhead, ate at the most amazing restaurants and had afternoon tea.

The trip originated with plans for Southern CA. But when that did not work out, we opted for Atlanta, GA. (We LOVE Atlanta)

Larry made us reservations at The St Regis Hotel for tea on Saturday afternoon. It very special and different than so many teas that we enjoy. The live music was perfect and the tea was served at the beautiful Astor Court. Such a special day and after tea we went to the Botanical Gardens where there was a huge orchid show. I love orchids, and today will buy one in honor of our amazing weekend away.

Our weekend away included no international news. When we arrived home, the news felt like a slap in the face. The world had gotten so much worse, and I felt guilty that my wonderful weekend went on when so many people are suffering in the Ukraine.

I am home. My own bed, my own desk, it is raining today, bad storms are expected and my anxiety is on high…..secret……I am still glad to be home.

Love you beyond the moon. (did you see that amazing full moon last week???)
