Time Is Like A River

Photo: TODAY: Making a new dress

Hello dear blog. Where are my moments splashing away to? Is this what happens when you are my age? It feels as if I just have to “figure things out”….and I will have the upper hand again. I confess. This is after surgery, and I feel tired, sorry for myself, and experience pouty talk. Charming isn’t it?

Yesterday, while working in the studio, the doorbell rang. A dear friend, her husband and daughter send us a cookies. Warm, fresh out of the oven, chocolate chip cookies and brownies. From Tiff’s Treats!

Thank you Nesli, Ismail and Sena. You made our day.

I am trying to get my life back to normal. I appreciate the texts and notes sent to me. They do lighten my spirits and remind me that I am so very blessed. (my voice is still gone and the stitches in my neck must be ready to be extracted by now. Tomorrow, I see DR B the surgeon) OK, I might not be 100% yet…But I can eat my weight in Chocolate Chip cookies! ( Nesli, how did you know that I loved them so much?)

It is 9:10 am and I am ready to go back to bed and read…but, I am working on this dress and hope to finish it for this weekend. I think that I can do it!! right?

Enough of my negativity. I just saw a quote…it touched me in the most unbelievable way…..

“Time is like a river. You cannot touch the same water twice, because the flow that has passed will never pass again. Enjoy every moment in Life.”-

Thank you for touching our lives this past week. The positive energy from friends is a blessing to us.

Love you beyond the moon.

Me.
