I do not post political things on my social media. I believe that my opinions are personal and have nothing to do with my friends or contacts.

Last week, on Instagram, a contact (who gives a political opinion regularly) posted slamming thoughts about things that I disagree with. She also added that if the post offended the reader in any way, go ahead and unfriend her. So, I unfriended her.

My life has been difficult the past couple of years. I limit social media and when I do log in, I love to catch up with friends and see positive posts. Social Media is my entertainment! ….. and not be subjected to negative crap. Why do people think that they can change the minds of others, by just sharing their opinions?

Yesterday I received a DM from her, asking if she had offended me in any way because she saw that I unfriended her. I am still laughing. Merde, didn’t she tell the reader to unfriend her if offended? So, I unfriended her.
