Sewing Dresses, Again

I started sewing a new dress. Again. It is my favorite pattern, McCall’s 7969. (View A) There is a group of us on Instagram who are fans of this pattern and make it often. It is fun to see how others interpret the pattern and the fabrics that they use. In other countries, the fabrics are very different. It always inspires me.

I started the dress yesterday and will finish it today. The directions are easy and the overall pattern is uncomplicated. I enjoy making the dress very much and it will be prefect for a get away to the beach!

I do not often wear bright colors, but this fabric piece caught my eye. It is wonderful to work with being 100% cotton.

Here is wishing you a bright, happy, uncomplicated day.

Love you beyond the moon.
