I waited Too

Matilda picked wildflowers on Saturday and gave them to us. Wildflowers in a Mason jar. What could be better than that?

Sunday was my 5 month remission mark. It means that I cannot sit in my big leather chair reading all day. Larry and I have walked 3 miles, three days in a row. I hope to be back to 4 miles 5 times a week. It is so difficult to do right now.

Yesterday I cooked dinner, we watched the movie No Reservations and drank a lovely Saint-Emilion.

Sunday menu was, hot artichoke dip and chips- beef tenderloin and grilled potatoes, brussel sprouts and carrots. We shared our meal with our quarantined neighbors. They had the same dinner as we did, but for dessert I made them a chocolate mousse. Our dessert consisted of…..Krispy Kream donuts. Larry gave up donuts for Lent and asked that we have them for the first time since Fat Tuesday….Photos below.

Libby left us three years ago April 27th, 2017. I still miss her every day. People ask us if we will adopt a new dog soon. I respond: No. Libby is waiting for me and when I see her again, I can tell her that I waited for her too.

Love you beyond the moon.
