Next to my work table, is a corner cabinet. It is rustic, sweet and I love it very much. It is within my view every morning as I sit…either getting ready to write or after and I am preparing to work on a project.

From the left, the dancing angel I bought after Mother died in 1995. Mother loved to dance. In the middle, a photo of Lars, Jami and myself on Jami’s birthday one year. It is ironic that Jami’s face is hidden, except for one of her eyes. My face is hidden too! The photo on the right is a selfie of Larry and myself that I took in France. It is mostly sky. I love the tops of our heads. Then come the Eiffel Towers. For many years, I would pick up the Eiffel Towers as I see ones that I like. On our last trip, I bought a dozen of them in different colors for dinner party place card holders…But…I have not been back to Paris since November 2018 and the dinner party never happened. (I had surgery and cancer treatment 2019-November and then coronavirus struck)

Larry and I are booked for a 2021 French trip. Maybe my photography mojo will come back before then and I will bring home the most amazing shots ever taken in France. Finger’s crossed

I cannot help but think of hosting a dinner party after this years trip? A holiday, French theme with the wonderful people in our lives? I definitely will have to buy more Eiffel Tower minis.

A dinner party! I am excited already. Look for your invitation in November……
