If you read the blog yesterday, I talked about “the red chairs”….we found them! Who is ready to come over for hot dogs and s’mores by the fire pit? Camp begins next Monday.
It is early Monday morning right now. I have walked 3 1/2 miles, laundry is swirling and I am making the camp Robi schedule. I have the calendar, and patches in front of me but I need help with one of the activities.
I honestly don’t know why I got this patch. I do not sing nor do I know any campfire songs. PLEASE if you have a favorite camp song share it with us. we will be singing by the fire pit….nightly I guess! (If I do not hear from anyone, I will have to watch the movie, MEATBALLS for ideas!) Please write soon. XOX
Have a wonderful day.
Love you beyond the moon.
Me
Hi Robin,
How fun…
I love campfire songs!
My favorite was “Michael Row the Boat Ashore”, best sung by Peter, Paul and Mary.
A good one for kids is The Green Grass Grows All Around”. The words are sung by one person and repeated by the other…really easy
Rosemary! Thank you so much! You always have the best ideas….XOX
You will have to YouTube these songs…from my Girl Scout days..
Do your ears hang low
You can’t ride in my little red wagon
Kumbai
Five little speckled frogs
We are going on a bear hunt
Have fun!!!
I have something in my pocket that belongs against my face……
Gact=goon went the little green frogs one day….
The Lord said to Noah, you’re going to build an arcy, Lord said to Noah, you’re going to build an arcy, arcy.
Make it out of hickory barky, barky — children of the Lord……
Row, row, row your boat (but sing it in a round, of course)
This little light of mine, I’m going to let it shine….
One hundred bottles of pop on the wall (pop — you can tell I’m from Michigan !)
