I am 48 hours past surgery and last night was a bit difficult. Finding a comfortable position was almost impossible. There are a few other complaints, but I will spare you the details.

It is not 6 am yet. Larry is still sleeping and the house is quiet. It must be cold outside because the heater turned on. I was wandering around the house and thought that I would click on the laptop. I did not plan on posting anything today, I am tired…but it almost feels good to sit here and type my feelings.

Today is going to be a great day, because my granddaughter Matilda is coming for a visit and lunch. She is always such a positive creature and full of life. I will enjoy this visit so much.

Notably when I am ill, I do not stay in bed but I do go back to bed to rest, read, nap or whatever I need, but I cannot stay in bed all day. It is maddening. What do you do? Can you stay in bed all day? I mean ALL DAY?
