A Chainsaw

For the last three years the sweetest newly-wed couple rented the house next door. They were amazing neighbors for being so young. They bought a new house north of Plano and they were so excited about a house of their own. They moved out last weekend.

Late yesterday a chainsaw started humming. There was a gardener at the empty rental house, next door. He was cutting down all of the foliage around the fence that separates our yards. Larry and I built that fence years ago. I mixed the concrete for posts and Larry did all of the hammering. (I love to mix concrete) The gardeners chainsaw was loud.

Besides disliking the sound of a chainsaw (from the time Larry cut off his left hand pinky finger with one) I find myself upset about the change in landscape of the back garden. I cannot decide if that is an OLD PERSON thing or a Robin doesn’t feel good thing.

I get accustomed to how things look and sometimes rely on that to confirm that everything is OK. I must confess that this is a new feeling. As a Gemini, I usually love change and the energy that it brings. The good thing is, in a week the “new” landscape will be the “old” landscape. Right?

My answer would be….”The Little Book Of Yoga, With A Chainsaw”……That is kind of disgusting.

Love you beyond the moon.
