Larry looked at me this morning and said, good morning, whatever day it is. It is Wednesday Larry! Wednesday….and then he said: Will you cut my hair before I take my shower?

I have been promising to cut his hair for days but something always came up. I said: Of course. Again.

I put my tools by the patio door. This is all I use. It is wonderful cutting Larry’s hair.

I use any excuse to be close to this wonderful person. He is wonderful to everyone, not just me. Do you know that Larry and I have matching Honu tattoos? Story here—>

A storm was coming as I cut inches off of his pony tail. The buzzer was dying as I trimmed his mustache {how did I forget to juice that thing up?} and my phone was ringing. Larry was still content sitting there looking out into the garden till I finished. I love being with that man.

This all happened almost 2 hours ago and unless I find some inspiration somewhere, that will be the highlight of my day. Reading hour is at eleven AM, and I love having an appointment to read daily. I am forced to stop and escape into a story of far away.

I am totally interested in setting up a “Happy Hour” once a week via ZOOM. I’m just figuring ZOOM out, but if anyone would like to try to figure it out with me and meet for a visit with a glass of wine, Please leave your suggestions in the comment section below.
