Dinner and Memories

In December, 2010, the 8th to be exact…..the family came over to celebrate Larry’s birthday. It was one of those nights that lives in my heart, even now.

Along with the lovely bottle of wine above, on that night, we learned that we were going to be grandparents. Larry has kept the wine safe and decided that we would open it last night.

That 17 year old wine was amazingly perfect. Smooth is the word I would use.

Our dinner menu was: stuffed pork tenderloin, twice baked potatoes and asparagas. Dessert was my “take” on a key lime cake. We watched Donovan’s Reef as we prepare to go to the beach(SOON!) and we toastred Matilda a few times during dinner. It was a wonderful evening filled with good food and even better memories.

Now, these strange days, memories have become very important part of my life. Do you agree? Or should I be looking forward and ignore the past?

Happy Monday.

Love you beyond the moon.
