Yesterday, I kept busy but did not exercise. I almost finished the dress that I am making and that is a feat because I kept making simple little mistakes while sewing. I talked to both my daughters as I do every day, facetimed with a wonderful granddaughter and went to bed early.

My dreams were vivid last night and they were about one of my favorite places in the world. With so much discussion about travel these days, I know why I dreamt about Amboise, Fr.

When we go to Amboise, it takes about 2 hours from Paris on the train. The city sits on the Loire River. King Francis brought close friend Leonardo Di Vinici to Amboise in 1516. Leonardo lived in a home, named…Clos-Lucé and the home is open to visitors now. The experience of being in his home and gardens is so amazing. I love it so much.

Larry has booked our 2021 fall holiday. Air, Residential Hotel (our old apartment has been sold) and this year will be year 24 of spending our holiday in France. It feels unreal to me. Are we really going to be able to go? Will they let us in? Will we be quarantined? ….but I keep on dreaming. After such dreams last night, I pulled up my photos this morning…….

I think that Larry and I will take the train to Amboise this year. (tickets are 15 euro!) The village is small and friendly on the banks of the Loire River. There are cafes, and a flower market that is filled to the brim with wonderful goods. I can almost smell the roses.
