I call the new sweater that I made for Larry, The Impressionists Sweater for one reason. It looks better from far away. (It is knitted, in a Fair Isle design with acrylic/wool blend yarn)
Today is the day when all of the loose yarn is woven into the stitches and I Fray Check all of the knots.
The body of the sweater will then be blocked….and Larry might get to wear it ONCE before putting it away for the warm months. Ironic isn’t it?
It is not very quiet in my studio today. Henry Mancini is on the playlist and the garbage men in their noisy truck have just gone down our street. It is Tuesday at The Cottage.
It looks like it is time for a new knit project? (I have it ready to start and will post when has progressed a bit)
What are you doing to keep Busy? Relevant? Happy? Or just plain old content?
Love you beyond the moon.

Robin: today it is actually going to be in the high 40’s. That is BIG in Michigan in March. So, Bill & I each have a list of things we want to do outdoors today. I am planning to cut back a vining clematis, all my Japanese forest grass, astilbe, and goatsbeard since I am considering this early spring. Of course, we may get a surprise snowfall between now & May, but I am hoping it won’t stay long. I am very excited about today’s plans !!!!
Then on Wednesday I am back at the hospital and will again volunteer at the Covid Clinic. This time from 7:30 to noon.
